Whether you carry check-in luggage ,hand luggage or additional luggage, the registration process with Tunisair Express is simple. International passengers must arrive at the airport 180 minutes before departure while domestic flights in Tunisia require arriving 150 minutes before departure. Please note that ticket booths close 60 minutes before departure (for international flights) and 45 minutes before take-off (for domestic flights).
The transport of any kind of hazardous material in Tunisair Express luggage is strictly prohibited and cannot be brought onto the plane.
Please do not forget to bring your passport and your ID to register your luggage. When registering your luggage, indicate your preference for a given seat that will be allocated to you subject to availability.
Check-in luggage
Tunisair Express is responsible for transporting your luggage safely. We recommend that you attach identification tags to the outside of your bags and place an identification tag inside them (Make sure to always include your destination as well as home address and contact information)
Hand luggage
Only one hand baggage is allowed per passenger fee free on Tunisair Express flights.
Hand luggage should not exceed the following size and weight restrictions:
Size: 55 cm for 35 cm.
Weight: 6 Kg
Excess luggage
Beyond the pre-defined deductible, an additional fee will be charged in case of exceeding. The excess baggage is calculated on the basis of 1.5% per kg of the fare of the section ticket.
Hazardous Material
To ensure the safety of all, please do not carry prohibited items in your luggage (gas, defense bomb, sharp objects, explosives, flammable products, radioactive materials …).
Pieces of identity
Your passport for international lines and your identity card for domestic lines will be required for travel.
Please remember that your name on your travel documents must perfectly match your name on your ticket. (That’s a legal requirement, not an airline rule.)
Make sure these pieces of identification are valid, and submit them when requested.
Seat selection in advance
You can request a seat at the time of your reservation and it will be allocated to you depending on availability.
